Lake Como makes the perfect setting for romantic weddings in Italy, and we were lucky enough to photograph Nadia and Michel’s special day at the Grand Hotel Imperiale in Moltrasio here.

After meeting the couple at the hotel, we hopped on a boat and sailed out to Isola Comacina – a beautiful island at the heart of the lake.

As you can imagine, the couple had the perfect backdrop for their photos, with Lake Como’s unique landscape of rolling green hills and pretty villages dotted with ornate villas.

After a walk on the island, we headed back to Como’s shores, to Lenno, where the couple joined their friends at the très chic ‘Lido di Lenno’ for a stylish beach party.
