It is always a pleasure and an honor to tell a new wedding story through my images of one of the most beautiful and exciting days of your life.

It is even more if the two future spouses live in Whitley Bay, in the north-east of England and dream of sealing their love forever in our beautiful country, in the splendid setting of Villa Teodolinda in Laglio, a small town on the shores of Lake Como already famous for being the holiday home of many International Stars.

Right here Karolina and Phillip celebrated their delightful, exciting, intimate and cozy wedding with an outdoor ceremony set up in an English Style garden with a swimming pool that has direct access to the lake, where their close friends and relatives gathered to celebrate this unforgettable day.

On this shore, Queen Teodolinda married twice. Perhaps this is why the villa is chosen to celebrate the most intimate and exclusive weddings ??

Karolina and Phillip met in London. Their eyes met at a private party after an award ceremony. There was romance in the air as they ended up taking and dancing that night.

They got engaged when they were on their summer holiday in Lithuania two and a half years ago. He proposed to her on the beach while watching the sunset.

She wanted to create a classy, romantic and intimate feeling about the day. Their preference was to get married on the lakeside as they both loved water and mountains.

She wanted me to capture natural moments but to also include their families, especially their two kids (Jacob 7, Camilla 4) who will be taking an important part in their ceremony. There’re 24 guests including 6 kids.
Those little moments count most. With being a small family celebration she’d like to create a warm, cozy and romantic atmosphere. The same with photography.. She really liked the photos she had seen from another wedding I photographed at Villa Teodolinda.

And the big day came!
The heart beats fast and the excitement begins to grow in the luxurious rooms where Karolina and Phillip are getting ready, along with the pageboys and flower girls … the big event is starting.

Nothing is missing: there are also their beautiful children: Jacob and Camilla. They are really sweet and very excited for their mom and their dad !!!

But let’s get to the aspect that we long to see: the wedding dress !!!
Karolina, in a simple and ultra feminine slipped dress with delicate lace by Crystal Design Wedding Dresses, paired with a very refined jeweled sandal, completed her bridal look with a semi-wavy hairstyle and natural make-up.

Philipp experiences the same sensations by adjusting the shirt of his very elegant made-to-measure suit and imagining the moment in which he can finally hold his beloved Karolina. Even the pretty flower girls are preparing and wearing their branded John Lewis dresses.

A bright light filters through the windows and a great calm, the whole world seems to be waiting to finally know the couple.

In the garden of Villa Teodolinda the ceremony has been set up, a corner of paradise enriched by beautiful floral compositions, signed Mario Pirovano.

The decorations were in a romantic style, with roses and peonies in shades of powder pink and white which created a harmonious, light and very elegant effect.

The most awaited and exciting moment of the party has arrived. The bride and groom made their great entrance with the beautiful bridesmaids, two sweet flower girls and two very elegant pageboys, on the notes of the beautiful Nothing Else Matters by Metallica played by two musicians of Blunotte Eventi, harp and violin.

Every step towards the altar, created with a magnificent arch of flowers, is a stronger heartbeat.
Tears of joy, emotion and complicity, become the protagonists of this unrepeatable, exciting and significant moment that, thanks to my famous Magic Wand, my couples will always remember.

A “I do” that is worth more than any promise, a “I do”, that of Katerina and Phillip, which reminds us how, a special love, can really last forever. They happily exchange wedding rings by Jewelers Guilds. The civil ceremony was celebrated by Petra Mainetti of the Municipality of Laglio.

Before reaching the banquet, the spouses left their guests for a while, along with me and Luna, for some shots of just the two of them, as newlyweds.

Photographing a wedding means finding details that can tell emotions, capturing what happens with a watchful eye with the sensibility to see things in a different manner, not only through the eyes but with the heart and the technical ability gained through years of experience.

The wedding reception is perfect to show sharing, joy and enthusiasm, but also an opportunity to welcome the spouses and guests in a fabulous atmosphere.

Deborah Lacerra of SunLake Catering created the amazing mise en place: powder pink tablecloths, white porcelain plates, crystal glasses, in perfect harmony with the flower arrangements, decorate the center of the tables on which a personalized menu and excellent wines were served.

This very elegant poolside banquet is the beginning of a big party.
The traditional cutting of the cake is another special moment that, on Karolina and Phillip’s day, became pure spectacle: in the enchanted setting of Lake Como guests are wrapped around the bride and groom to toast excitedly.

And so the dances were opened on the notes of Chasing Rainbows by Shed Seven !!!
The rest of the party is a continuous growth of joy and pure fun.
Hugs and smiles blend with the music, in a cool night that smells of summer and love.

Once again I succeeded in exceeding my spouses’ expectations, giving Karolina and Phillip personalized shots with a romantic and dreamy atmosphere and realizing their greatest dream: to celebrate and immortalize their great love with their families and friends in an enchanting scenario.
We just have to wish Karolina and Phillip so much happiness !!!
