Marie and Russell got married in one of the best places for weddings in Italy: Villa del Balbianello, an amazing venue in Lake Como.
They chose this wedding venue both for the ceremony and the party.

Marie had her hairstyle and makeup at Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio.

Russel instead was staying at Hotel Excelsior Splendid, in Bellagio as well.

Sparkling orange, pale pink and white palette and unusual rosemery mixed with flowers was the perfect solution.

The couple reached Villa Balbianello separately, of course. One boat picked up Russel and the guests from Hotel Excelsior Splendid first. Then, Marie with her father and her friend left Villa Serbelloni by the bridal boat.

The ceremony was held under the Loggia where Russel and the guests were waiting for the bride’s arrival and a string trio music was playing from seating of guests to the end of cocktail party.

The catering company served a delicious cocktail in the terrace, just below the Loggia, called La Terrazza della Canfora. While the guests were enjoying drinks and Italian food we walked around in that magical location with the newlyweds for some romantic wedding shoots.

Later, a boat picked up us and the couple from Villa Balbianello pier and dropped off at Bellagio boat pier.
